Raven sign former Morgan State safety as undrafted free agent

The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Morgan State University defensive back Jordan Toles as an undrafted free agent.

The Baltimore native is staying close to home after finishing his career at Morgan State, where he was named first-team All-MEAC last season. He finished as the team’s second-leading tackler while adding three interceptions and a blocked kick.

He was a four-time MEAC Player of the Week and was a finalist for Aeneas Williams Award, given to the top defensive back at a Historically Black College or University in 2023. He was also invited to the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl that features the top 100 NFL draft eligible HBCU football players.

Toles was a two-sport star in high school here in Baltimore at St. Frances Academy. He originally went to Louisianan State University for his first two years of college before transferring to Morgan State. He was a four-star football recruit out of high school and was the No. 4 ranked player out of Maryland.

This year marked the second in a row that a player from an HBCU did not get drafted into the NFL. Toles is one of eight players from an HBCU to sign deals (non-minicamp invitee) with an NFL team.
